Card matching
This is an interactive card matching memory game built with pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The game challenges players to find all matching pairs of emoji cards by flipping two cards at a time, testing and improving their memory skills.
Game Features:
- Three difficulty levels to accommodate different skill levels:
- Easy Mode: 8 pairs (16 cards total) arranged in a 4x4 grid - perfect for beginners and quick games
- Medium Mode: 12 pairs (24 cards total) in a 6x4 grid - a moderate challenge requiring better focus
- Hard Mode: 18 pairs (36 cards total) in a 6x6 grid - an intense memory workout for experienced players
Gameplay Mechanics:
- Click any card to reveal the emoji underneath
- Click a second card to try to find its match
- If the two cards match, they stay revealed and become slightly transparent
- If they don't match, both cards flip back over after one second
- The move counter tracks how many attempts you've made
- Continue until all pairs are found
- Try to complete the game in as few moves as possible
