Dungeon Delver is a terminal-based role-playing game (RPG) that immerses players in a classic dungeon-crawling experience. Players battle monsters, collect gold, buy gear, complete quests, and level up — all through a simple text interface in the command prompt.
Persistent Progress: Player data is stored in a JSON file, allowing for progress retention across game sessions.
Combat System: Fight a variety of monsters with unique stats. Attack, use potions, or attempt to flee.
Shop System: Purchase weapons, armor, and potions using earned gold.
Leveling Up: Gain XP from battles to level up and increase core stats like HP, Attack, and Defense.
Daily Login Rewards & Quests: Return daily for bonus gold and a randomly assigned quest to earn extra rewards.
Typewriter Text Display: Enhances immersion with slowly printed text effects.
Simple HUD: Displays the player's stats, inventory, and quest progress clearly and concisely.
